Shiksha Arora bids farewell to KBC after three years

Popular Kenyan media personality Shiksha Arora is moving on from the Kenya Broadcasting Cooperation (KBC) after a successful three-year stint. She announced her departure on social media, expressing her gratitude for the experience and colleagues who became family.

An Emotional Goodbye

“It’s hard to say goodbye,” Shiksha wrote, acknowledging the mixed emotions of leaving a cherished workplace. She thanked her viewers and colleagues for joining her on “an incredible journey” during her time hosting “Easy Friday.”

Shiksha reminisced about her time at KBC, highlighting exciting moments like covering elections and dancing with Kenyan entertainment icons. She also fondly recalled interviewing over a hundred celebrities and artists on her show.

“This isn’t just the end of a show; it’s just the beginning of a new chapter which I am very excited about,” Shiksha shared

Looking Ahead with Excitement

While details about her next move remain undisclosed, her enthusiasm suggests a promising future. She invited viewers for a final farewell on “Easy Friday” tonight at 9 pm.

Shiksha joined KBC in 2021 after a similar three-year stint as a news anchor at K24. Her engaging personality and humor quickly won over audiences, solidifying her place as one of Kenya’s most recognized media figures. Her educational background includes a Master’s degree in Broadcast Journalism and a talent for digital marketing.
