Embakasi East Member of Parliament Hon. Babu Owino has announced that he is now the chief opposition leader, promising to fight for the interests of Kenyans.
In his statement today, Owino criticized former opposition members who have joined forces with the government, claiming that their new alliances have made them less effective at addressing the needs of ordinary people. “There are so many people who were in the opposition and are now in bed with the government. My interest is to fight for Kenyans,” Owino said.
Owino shared his disappointment with the ODM members who have betrayed their party terming the situation as simply saddening.
