Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has shared an update on Nasibo Kabale after receiving numerous tags from concerned netizens. In a detailed social media post, Sonko outlined the steps he is taking to support Kabale and highlighted the ongoing efforts to aid her recovery.
Sonko confirmed that he has been in touch with Kabale’s mother and some of her former colleagues in the media, including Ibrahim Aruko, Job Mwaura, and Geoffrey Mosuko. “Necessary action has already been taken,” Sonko said, adding that Nasibo is currently admitted at the Mombasa Women Rehabilitation Centre. This center has gained a reputation for successful recoveries, having previously treated former international boxer Conjestina Achieng, former Citizen TV journalist Kimani Mbugua, and former NTV journalist Eunice Omollo. Sonko revealed.
In his post, Sonko emphasized the importance of respecting the privacy of Kabale’s family, noting that they have requested minimal publicity during this challenging period. “The family has played their important role through her brother, and I have also chipped in as usual,” Sonko stated. He expressed his gratitude to Kabale’s friends in the media for their solidarity and support during this difficult time.
