Gospel singer and preacher Mbarikiwa Mwakipesile recently weighed in on Christina and pastor John Shusho’s failed marriage where he blames Ms Shusho for the breakup.

According to pastor Mbarikiwa Mwakipesile he blames Christina Shusho for walking out on her marriage following the sudden fame she gained from making music.

Speaking during a Sunday church service, pastor Mbarikiwa Mwakipesile went on to mock Christina Shusho for her ‘assignement’ which he ridiculed stating that she only came up with excuses to leave her marriage.

I once preached here and said the most dangerous thing that can happen to a woman is her finding fame. She claims the reason to ditch her marriage is so she can focus on an ‘assignment’. What kind of assignment? Mr Mwakipesile told congregants.

Shusho responds

With this, Christina Shusho now says she will sue the pastor for tarnishing her name and spreading lies concerning her marriage with John Shusho.

Shusho went on to add that she had already involved her lawyers who are ready to serve the said parties dragging her name in mud now that her marriage is over with John.

Those who are using my picture or my name to spread misinformation about my marriage and others who are insulting me, the issue is already being dealt with my lawyers and I am hopeful they will face the full force of the law. She said.

This comes just a month after she confessed to have left her marriage following God’s call to his ministry.

According to her, God wanted her elsewhere and could not manage serving two masters at the same time.

Let me be open, I have never been fake and I don’t lie. The truth is it’s an assignment. There is nothing different other than that. The assignment God has given me this season cannot allow me to stay where I was. I had to leave to go fulfil the assignment. Christina Shusho said.
