‘Mali Safi Chito’ Hitmaker Calls Out Companies Claiming Her Original Song

Published on

Mali Safi Chito Maker, famously known as the Marakwet Daughter, has called out companies claiming rights to her hit song.

Speaking through a video she shared online, Mali Safi Chito Hitmaker called out a company by the name of ‘Ruth North Company’ amongst others, urging them to stop claiming rights to her song, as she might just consider suing them for that.

She promised to hold them responsible for what they had done by bitterly saying she would come for their necks for taking advantage of her hard-earned sweat.

On the same day, she apologized and clarified to her fans who had done a TikTok challenge of her song ‘Mali Safi Chito’, saying she had nothing to do with it as she wasn’t involved in bringing down her song.

This is actually the second time the Marakwet Daughter is coming clean and calling out individuals taking advantage of her track, after she recently called out Kenyan DJs who were using her song without consulting her first.
