Police in Machakos County are investigating the death of a 19-year-old student whose body was discovered in a dam in Katine Village.
Brian Makau Kyulu, a student at Katine Technical Training College, had been reported missing after he left home for school on Friday, September 25, 2026, but failed to return that evening.
His family reported the matter at Tala Police Station on Saturday morning as they searched for information about his whereabouts.
The search later led them to a dam in Katine after they received reports that some of Makau’s belongings had been found along the banks. The items included his clothes, a radio and a mobile phone.
