Bar Worker Found Dead
Detectives in Lari, Kiambu County, are investigating the death of 27-year-old Zawadi Mwathi, whose body was discovered inside a lodging located in the building where she worked.
According to police, Mwathi had been serving customers at the bar before she reportedly disappeared at around 10:30pm.
Her sudden absence raised concern among some of the customers, who began searching for her around the premises.
Body Discovered in Lodging
The search eventually led to one of the lodgings within the building, where Mwathi was found dead.
Police officers who arrived at the scene found her lying on a bed with her hands and neck tied using pieces of cloth.
Her clothes were reportedly scattered across the room, with initial observations suggesting that there may have been a struggle before her death.

Two Suspects Arrested
