Kenyan comedian YY has cleared his name in relation to the incident that occurred between him and singer Kenrazy. During an interview with SPM Buzz YY, he also shared his thoughts on what sets him apart from other stand-up comedians in the nation and around East Africa in general. He remarked that the most important factor in any craft is the amount of time spent on it.

He also stated that an individual’s passion should not be the only thing that drives them, adding that effort is required, and comparing passion to a person who wants a woman because it is something they are passionate about but cannot get the woman back. He said that passion should not be the only thing that drives an individual.

YY continued by stating that there is no place for trial and error, and that everyone, regardless of the profession they are working in, need to have prior experience.
In addition to that, he encouraged those who create material to use their creativity inside the sector. YY stated that he has no problem with comedians being in their own element while others mimic being females or males and that he understands their craft, but that some use it as a short cut to making it without being creative. This was in response to the issue of comedians being in their own element while others mimic being females or males.

“Don’t depend on the accent to make people laugh,” said YY, who asserted that in the aftermath of digital media, everyone has attempted being a comedian or a content producer. “

YY made a lighthearted comment during a recent interview with Plug TV, suggesting that Kenrazy’s artistic ability is below par. After some time, he issued an apology on his Instagram page. Yy claimed that he had known Kenrazy and Timmy Tdat for a very long time; however, the person who released the video removed the portion of the conversation in which Yy discussed Kenrazy’s status as a close friend.

YY elucidated the fact that he and Kenrazy do not harbor any ill will against one another. Concerning the topic of fans, YY noted that the energy supporters utilize when there is a stir on the internet should be used to support Kenrazy’s content and creative efforts instead of stirring up trouble online. He went on to claim that his supporters understand him better than anybody else, and that anyone who does not understand him is not a fan of his.
