YouTube Nicholas Kioko has stood his ground regarding how his house looks after facing criticism from netizens who claimed that it looked like a police station. He issued the response while speaking in a Kenya Online Media interview. He defiantly defended his family’s home, stressing that outside criticism wouldn’t influence their decision.
Kioko emphasized that his happiness isn’t dependent on external validation. He encouraged his critics to focus on building their own lives rather than tearing down others.
“ It did not affect me. Hao watu wanaongea vibaya si waende wajenge zao. I do not have time for them. Ni watu wako hurt na maisha na wanajiforce kukupenda. Wengine wametumwa competitors to come and comment vibaya on my video,” said Kioko.

Kioko, a content creator with a loyal following, offered a glimpse into his family’s residence in a March video. However, some viewers compared the two-bedroom house in a village setting to a police station, leading to negative comments.
Situated in Kioko’s rural village, the “mansion” comprises two bedrooms: a master bedroom and a separate one for their twins, which they introduced with his wife Ashley in 2023. The house is adorned with vibrant colors of orange, black, and white, eliciting comparisons to police station from fans online.
