Young Fortune Shares What Inspired Her To Start Singing at the age of 3 (Video)

A young talented girl by the name of Fortune, aged 9 years old, has shared what inspired her to start singing at age 3.

Speaking to our own journalist Liz, she said that she was inspired to singing by her father, who opened up a talent center that she used to go to and train at.

She first composed her songs at the age of 6, a decision she said wasn’t easy because of the pandemic that was all over. She narrated how resilient and determined she was, pushing for the support that she wanted from her parents to fund her work even though the times were tough.

Fortune hinted that “Yesu ndio Bazu” is her favorite track because the song encourages people to not give up and consider that they have the Lord on their side. The beats of the song are also what make the song stand out.

The 9-year-old, who happens to be the only child, is managed by her father, and she thanks them greatly for it.

She shared the list of talented gospel artists that she would love to work with, which are ‘Guardian Angel and Moji Short Baba.

Speaking of how she is able to balance work and school, she said that she has a flexible schedule that works in her favor as well as supportive classmates that at times help her come up with an idea of what track she can do. At such a young age, Fortune has been able to accomplish quite a lot by performing on different stages and in shows that have exposed her to the world and helped her grow as a brand.

She lastly thanked her parents for the support and promised to keep working and growing her talent.
