Willy Paul reveals why he quit chasing Diamond Platnumz for a collabo
Willy Paul was among the most celebrated gospel artists in the Kenyan music industry. He was not only known for his stylish vibe but for his well composed swahili songs.
With this talent, Willy Paul managed to attract a huge following from Tz – fans who felt he deserved to collaborate with Diamond Platnumz.
However close to a decade later, Pozee is yet to work with the bongo star. Speaking about this with with journalists, Willy Paul said he is done being compared to Diamond.
Kitambo nilikuwa nafananishwa na Diamond. Lakini Staki kufananishwa. Pozee said.
According to him things have changed over the years unlike back then, when he used to beg for collabo’s.
Addressing why he has never worked with Diamond, Pozee revealed that his management got tired of false promises from WCB, but either way expressed no regrets whatsoever.

No bad blood
Despite having outgrown his ‘Diamond Platnumz wannabee’ phase, Pozee made it known that he still respects the Tz singer.
He also appreciated Diamond for emerging the best artist in East Africa and putting Swahili songs on the map.
