Kenyan artist Willy Paul has finally shared a statement via his social media concerning an abrupt arrest that he faced yesterday at his premises.
Earlier today, Willy Paul recorded a video from his house thanking his close friends and the public for walking with him the entire time.
“I just want to say that I am grateful for all the support, and I am humbled. I am home safely. God bless you all,” Willy Paul said in a video he posted on his Instagram page.
In a series of alarming posts on March 4, Pozee expressed concern for his safety, attributing it to the police and making false accusations.
According to Willy, he received information about police officers stationed outside his residence, accusing him of a hit-and-run incident involving a pedestrian.
In his messages, he stressed that this wasn’t the first time he faced such accusations, alluding to a prior encounter with law enforcement in similar circumstances.
In a different statement, Wily Paul told the public to hold the policemen accountable should anything happen to him.
Willy Paul is now free and hasn’t yet told the public the real reason behind his detention; all we have are opinions from different people.
