“We Don’t Do That Here” ~ Alinur Mohammed Asks Mercy Tarus to Apologize to Uasin Gishu Leaders

Published on

Kenyan Somali Politician Hon. Alinur Mohammed has asked ‘Mercy Tarus, the lady who caused a stir the other day by confronting Uasin Gishu leaders in public, for forgiveness.

Speaking through his social media page, he advised the young teenager to seek forgiveness from the leaders, saying that it is not how things are done, even if it means airing out their grievances.

“I am disappointed with Mercy Tarus. I support her message but disagree with how she shared it. She disrespected leaders from Uasin Gishu, like Senator Jackson Mandago, and other people’s parents by shouting at them and lecturing them. We don’t do that here. She should apologize.”

According to Alinur, the way she was lecturing the elderly and other honorable leaders is unacceptable, and she owes each one of them an apology. He also condemned those who are siding with Mercy, saying that they are making the situation even worse and promoting something that is forbidden in society.

He even believes that the President should be informed of this so that he can help in advising and guiding the youth and people on how to address the elderly as well as how to do it when it comes to airing their grievances.

All he wants is for Mercy to not divert from the main cause, which is making leaders accountable, and for the parents to be refunded.

“We all want parents to be refunded their money and the leaders arrested, but Mercy Tarus should be keen and watch her behavior so that she doesn’t divert from the main issue and lose the money. We don’t need drama for them to be refunded. We only need accountability.”

Mercy had called out the Uasin Gishu for issuing out fake promises and using them while they themselves had established a future and a good lifestyle for their own children, leaving others disadvantaged with nothing of importance to do.

The Bitter lady went to the point of daring the leaders to touch her because she has exposed them; she currently works in a salon and said she doesn’t regret saying what she did, and the leaders should always be accountable and not take advantage of others just because they aren’t related in any way.
