Mumias East Member of Parliament Peter Salasya speaks on why he loves Kenya and wouldn’t have second thoughts of relocating anytime soon.
Speaking in an interview with the press at MCA Tricky’s Comedy Vibez event, he said that he has been to quite a number of countries, but never in his life has he seen a country that knows how to party like Kenya. He says that Kenyans lead in partying because they know how to do it compared to other countries that he said are boring.
“Kwa Nchi zote ambazo nimetembea afrika mashariki ni nchi mmoja ambayo naheshimu upande wa sherehe. Na nchi hiyo ni Kenya. Wakenya Wanapenda Sherehe.” Salasya shared.
He goes on saying that, as beings, it is good to not take life so seriously, adding that life is as easy as it is.
He also addressed his slap incident that happened way back at an event, refuting claims of having engaged in any physical violence with anyone and adding that whoever is circulating the clip is probably wrong and he isn’t a part of the whole incident. “Mimi sikupigek mtu kofi mimi,” Salasya clarified.
He did also say that he has more than enough money to spend because he has very few responsibilities because he ain’t a family man, and the money he can spare should he decide to live large is more than enough, and anyone hating on him for saying he is bankrupt will be surprised when they see him making moves, hinting that he had hired a chopper worth 1 million Ksh so that he moves around the country because he has errands to run.
Mumias East MP Peter Salasya has always been in the spotlight because of how controversial a leader he is. The stunts he has been pulling day in and day out have always been talked about, with many questioning his leadership integrity and morals. He addressed this a while back, saying he does what he does to be relevant and admitting that, thanks to it, almost everyone now knows him.
