Former Roots Party presidential candidate George Wajackoyah has shared intriguing information about being offered a job by president William Ruto.
The former presidential aspirant shared over the weekend that he decided not to take up the job from his rival Ruto.
According to Wajackoyah, the president offered him a position as minister.
‘I’ve been offered to be a minister. Nilipigiwa simu juzi. Nimeambia Ruto, pack your position, give it to whoever wants it and go to hell with it. I don’t give a damn. I am very bitter today.
He further admonished the Gen Z’s not to vote for any leader who will accept to be ‘recycled’.
‘Gen Z’s, anytime you see a leader who has been recycled, just say no,” he continued.
Wajackoyah vs Ruto
Wajackoyah is known to be a great rival of president Ruto, especially after losing the 2022 elections.
He has been among the leaders who have been vocal about opposing the government; not forgetting to mention Raila Odinga.
Wajackoya’s sentiments come after Ruto recently dissolved over 20 CS’s. The decision hit them hard as Kenyans took to social media to troll those who had lost their jobs as cabinet secretaries.
Moses Kuria, Kipchumba Murkomen & Ababu Namwamba were among those who were heavily trolled for their loss.
Ruto is yet to state whether he will be replacing those who lost their jobs as cabinet secretaries.
