Controversial MP Peter Salasya is once again on the spotlight following a viral video of himself that is trending on X (Twitter).

In the video, Salasya is seen visibly drunk while mumbling unclear words at first. He struggles to talk as he comments on the Financial Bill.

On the other hand, the person recording him doesn’t sound drunk as he records Salasya sipping on expensive liqour.

Salasya goes ahead to educate Ruto on the Financial Bill while naming an American leader.

“He must learn from one president I love so much Ronny Reagan. He was once a governor and found an economy that was finding it hard. He introduced what he called Reaganomics, where he made America to move from middle-class economy to first-class economy,” he said.

He continued to admonish Ruto to reduce the taxes that Kenyans are paying, while confessing his admiration for him.

“He must accept one thing; to cut down on taxes and budget so as to attract investment in this country. I personally love the president but he must look at himself.

Salasya’s video has elicited mixed reactions from Kenyans on X, with most of them calling him out for being drunk on a weekday.
