Kenyan journalist Vincent Mboya has been apprehended and is in police custody for being accused of taking part in an act he says he didn’t do.

Mboya shared the heartbreaking news through his social media channel, informing his audience of the story and saying that he is headed to court to face judgment on something he says he is innocent of.

He has urged his fans to be ready to step in and support him, just in case he is released.

“Hi Guys… I was arrested, and I am heading to court. I am accused of rape and assault, which isn’t true.

If I come out, I will narrate the whole story. Just pray for me, guys. In case I am issued a cash bail or bond, I will ask for your support.”
