President Ruto’s daughter Charlene Ruto has shared an emotional message after visiting the affected victims of anti-government protests.

The protests went on for several days before being calmed a bit by Ruto after he decided not to sign the finance bill.

The narrative however, changed after the finance bill, and Ruto was asked to step down.

The protests continued for days, and young people like Rex lost their lives during the demonstrations that started off as peaceful.

Some of them ended up getting bullet wounds and others were injured and taken to hospital.

Charlene Ruto’s visit

The first daughter recently visited some of the injured victims in hospital and sympathized with them.

She took to her Instagram to share the latter;

It was a very emotional day visiting some young people and members of the public who found themselves as unfortunate victims of the chaos that surfaced in recent days.
I would like to thank @official_ktta, the medical fraternity including MedicsforKE, @kenyanbybloodfoundation, my fellow blood ambassadors and many other teams for collaboratively donating blood needed during this period.
I believe it’s time to reflect and heal as a nation as we search our deepest postures of patriotism, forgiveness and integrated as one people! God bless Kenya! WE ARE ONE!
she wrote.

A couple of celebrities like Ringtone have also gone to hospital to visit those who were injured in the protests.

Charlene’s sentiment comes just a few days after Charlene went to request Gen Z’s to calm down and give time for dialogue, but they were reluctant in listening to her.
