Everybody literally almost everyone has been scolded before yeah I am speaking of our lives back in boarding schools some of us went in during primary there are those who went in during high school and yes trust me bullying is true and real.
You should consider helping out if your child is being bullied because trust me there is nothing the kid will be thinking the entire time rather than that bully who threatened to get him or her after class.
I have prepared you a couple of hints you should consider:
1. Hear Your Child Out.
Parents have this kind of notion that it’s life I also went through it, you’ll get over it No. Just because it worked for you doesn’t mean it will favor your child as well, don’t assume stuff sit with him or her during holidays or those breaks and let him share the story, so that you can help out as a parent you can also teach the child self-defense a times it’s necessarily at least something he might pull off not because he wants to fight back but just as an escapism mechanism.
2. Remain Calm.
It happens all the time rage, hurt and shame you feel like someone humiliating your child is doing that to you in some way. As a parent it is good you never encourage physical contact or yelling at your child, handle it like an adult.
3. Talk with the Head of the School.
Consider involving authorities in the school like the principal and staff, tell them what happened and let them look for ways to fix the problem.
Make an appointment with them, have a discussion with them as you try to find a solution together without revealing the person who was endangered for security reasons.
This will work out.
4. Role Play in What if situations.
Prepare your child psychologically build confidence in him and let him or her step-up as you will be teaching him to reply in strong firm voice It’s not really an assurance that it’s a solution, but it’s better than just sitting there it will send a message to the bully, and he might be scared or be afraid to touch the child take an example like…’when I was in primary there was this kid who used to shun guys off like everybody knew that was a bad line not because he was strong or something Nooo… his voice made people afraid of playing with him.’
5. Build Your Child’s Confidence.
You fix this and the child will be able to step up to anything. Let him learn new hobbies that will keep him fit and embrace positive behaviors as well.
