Kenyan songwriter Jovial has stated that she has no romantic relationship with controversial musician Willy Paul. Taking to Instagram Jovial was quick to refute the claims as she responded to a fan who asked her whether poze was her ideal man.
This comes days after the duo released a song together and has been posting lately on social media. Willy Paul has been a force to reckon with in the Kenyan music industry boasting more than a million subscribers on youtube.
He rose to fame back in the days releasing Sitolia with Gloria Muliro. The song featured Willy Paul as a youth who was willing to give up on life due to it’s challenges. He has however grown in the music industry after joining the secular industry.
Jovial responding to the fan stated
,” Ok I’m done. Poze is not my man. It was business and we both benefited from it. Now am suffocating nmeshindwa kuvumilia. Mungu nisaidie kwa yatakayo futa. ‘
She later deleted the post on her page. Jovial has also had an illustrious music career featuring many artistes on her work from Mejja, Willy Paul, Otile Brown among others.Her success came after also joining Willy Paul’s record label just in love. Jovial and Otile have released Jeraha and such kinda love songs that have done well in the country and the East African region.
Emanating from the coastal region, Jovial has proved that indeed she has what it takes to reach the levels of other female artists in the country . Jovial separated from her husband some time ago citing domestic issues as the latter wanted her to be a house wife.
