Jimmy Wanjigi’s daughter has narrated a harrowing encounter they had with the police after they raided their house.
Speaking to the press, Wanjigi’s daughter opened up, saying that they were actually harassed, something that they didn’t expect. What even upsets her the most is the way they were treated, hinting that they were hit and abused.
“My mother and I were the only ones in the house alongside our grandmother. My mom and I had our phones up. We were recording, and we were persuading them not to shoot multiple times. We were kicked, hit, and fell to the ground, They were just trying to look for our phones and take them away.
They forcefully gained access and abused us; it was quite a shocking experience.” Jimmy Wanjigi’s daughter told the press.
