Kenyan YouTuber Thee Pluto has announced that he will soon be a landlord after showing off his rental apartments that are still in progress and nearing completion on Kenyatta Road, Nairobi, Kenya.
The young Forex Trader, who shared the information via his social media page, said that he is building 18 bedsitters and two bedrooms that he is proud of.
“Project 2: I am about to be an apartment landlord in Kenyatta Road after the completion of these 18 bedsitters and 2 one-bedroom units.” Thee Pluto wrote on her page
He went on to use the analogy of a wise man to explain his point.
“A wise man told me that a man’s ego is determined by two things. The car he drives and the woman he rolls out with. I beg to differ and add a third point: the projects he involves himself in also matter. Rome wasn’t built in a day. It has been a lot of hustle (it still is and will be)! Lots of sacrifices, sleepless nights, and struggles to repay some bank loans in an effort to try and create generational wealth,” he wrote.

His decision was driven by his mother, who was struggling back then when she asked him how they were going to raise a certain sum of money to pay rent. That thing has always troubled him, and he carried it along, making a promise that some day he would change the narrative.
“I remember one day while in Maaaimahiu when my mam alikuwa anachapa hustle kwa kibanda akiniuliza rent (2,500) tutatoa wapi. And I told her siku moja yatajipa na nitakuja jenga ghorofa ya rentals. Keep dreaming until it becomes a reality. Mungu siku zote. Gift no. 2 to my family delivered,” he added.
This actually comes days after Pluto surprised his girlfriend, Felicity Shiru, who is also the mother of his child, with an ongoing project that will soon be their house.
