The Kenyan Pilots have today called off their strike that was recording loses every second that went by.
The Pilots went on strike because their needs were not met. They wanted their pensions to be tabled, something that seemed to cause a misunderstanding which then lead to the whole problem.
The decision was made on Tuesday, considering the loses that were raising concerns all over. Earlier Today on Wednesday, they did a press Conference saying that they are back at work.
They have assured the public that, they are back on track as there were flights scheduled to start flying, Although they also emphasized that everything will be functioning fully onwards fully from 12th of November 2022.
Allan Kilavuka, The Group Managing Director and CEO of Kenya Airways, wrote that,
“We thank the court for the expeditious ruling that now allows KQ to resume its normal operations. We commit to complying with court’s directions”
Kipchumba Murkomen as well defended or rather made it clear that No pilot should be taken into account because of taking part in the strike.
Quite a number of people were affected by this short time strike, as entrepreneurs suffered great loses.
