Nigerian artist Tems has warned anyone who is spreading bad word or rather trying to make her pick their sides and force her into considering their opinions about her personal life.
This rose up when Tems featured in the new Dazed magazine, something that didn’t go well with some people who came out with mockery words.
She didn’t show up fear in responding to the critics as she tweeted on her page saying, she will not let anyone intimidate her and that she is no one’s shoulder to lean on.
“I don’t know who needs to hear this but I am not your Christian saviour. I didn’t come here to uphold your beliefs about God, I will not fit in this box you try to put me in.”
She also added that she can’t be anyone’s cup of fill.
“I won’t satisfy you in that area please find the person that will. Or ask yourself why you care,”
She demonstrated confidence in the magazine saying,
“There cannot be any competition because I’m just being 100% myself. If you want something else, you can go somewhere else. It’s not by force.”
She lastly clarified saying that she is one of a kind and she isn’t looking to impress no one.
“It’s the House that is built on the solid rock that will withstand the storm. I’m trying to impress myself not you.”
