Susan Kaitanny announces exit from Real housewives of Nairobi

Kenyan actress Susan Khaitanny explains why she will not be acting in season 2 of The Real Housewives of Nairobi.

According to Susan, she was handed a contract deal but declined, opting to put her family and motherhood first above everything else.

Dear Fam, I’d like to share my decision to step back from RHON season two. I was offered a contract for the filming of the second season by the producers, and I took my time to think about, reflect, and, together with my family, conclude that my role as a mother and entrepreneur came first.” Susan Khaittany wrote.

She went on to add that she will be going back to school for her masters in psychology, and that means she would have to be choosy and drop other things, among them her acting career, because it would be hard for her to concentrate.

Going back to school for my master’s in psychology meant that I had to reanalyze my priorities, and I’ve chosen to step back from filming and refocus my energy on the things that matter most to me,” Susan shared.

She concluded by thanking her fans and promising to get back on screens soon enough, but as of the moment, she urged them to bear with her decision as she has a number of things she had planned on doing this year.

Kaitanny starred in season one alongside Vera Sidika, Minney Kariuki, Sonal Maherali, Lisa Christoffersen, and Dr. Catherine.

A noteworthy alteration in Season 2 is the replacement of the pregnant cast members. The new season, which promises new stories and cast dynamics, will center on actress Minne Kariuki’s pregnancy, whereas the previous season followed socialite Vera Sidika’s maternity journey.
