Kenyan artist Akothee has called out to former Kenyan artist Jaguar, telling him to keep her name off his mouth.
Speaking through her Social media page on Instagram, she said that her manager had advised her to leave the politician be as he is just looking for relevance.
Akothee even questioned the fact that why Jaguar was still on her even after landing a governmental job.
“My manager urged me to leave him, he is looking for relevance.”
Jaguar used to do music back then before he was appointed as the Cabinet Minister for Youth affairs under the Kenya Kwanza Government.
The ‘Huu Mwaka’ hit maker had initially said in one of the recent interviews that if Akothee and Harmonize were to defeat him, he would quit music.
“Mimi naeza swear hapa……. mtu kama Akothee na Harmonize wakaanishinda ….naeza wacha kimiziki.”
He went on saying that he would even give up his work because of how frustrating it would be for Akothee to surpass him on the top performing artists list, and he has been in the industry and the limelight for more than 15 years.
This when Akothee then responded, telling him to keep off.
“Stop calling me, I am not your league Rubbish.”
