Ssaru Outfit at Boomfest stirs up online debate on decency

Kenyan female artist Ssaru’s outfit at the Boomfest festival has generated mixed reactions online.

Boomfest Africa 2024 that took place on a Saturday was an annual event powered by Boomplay, aimed at uniting, embracing and celebrating Kenya’s music that featured a total of 16 performing artists.

Ssaru, who had gone to perform at the festival, wore a black tight on which was paired with silver coloured cut out cowgirl pants, leaving her backside protruding hence the uproar from fans.

The public took it to their social media to share their reactions concerning the dressing that she had worn, which they said was wrong and went against traditions.

Ssaru is a multi talented artist, Rapper, singer & song writer who debuted as a professional musician back in November 2019 a year after completing high school. She has collaborated with some of the greatest artists in the country that are doing good.
