Eliud Wekesa whose famously known as ‘Yesu Wa Tongaren’ has criticized and mocked pastor Mackenzie for being responsible for the deaths of more than 50 people.

Speaking to the press, he said that Pastor Mackenzie did wrong by making people fast to death to see Jesus, he said that Mackenzie should have just brought his congregants to Bungoma so that they can see him.

“Yule aliye yatenda yale shakahola ni mauaji…. maana huwezi kuweka watu wafunge hadi wakufe iliwamwone yesu.

Si angewaleta waone yesu eneo la magaharibi ya Kenya.”

He went on expressing his disappointment that the Pastor has gone against God and the law, as the blood of the dead people is on his hands.

He said that he is innocent and has got nothing to do with cult practices in his church. Furthermore, he has been in service for over 10 years now and has said that the truth will be seen by the public.

Yesu Wa Tongaren is currently being investigated by the DCI officers on how he is running his church and whether he is influencing his congregants positively or negatively.
