Kenyan comedian Oga Obinna has thrown his weight behind rapper Stevo Simple Boy, suggesting the musician has untapped comedic potential. While interviewing him, Obinna lauded Stevo’s natural humor and urged him to consider venturing into comedy and content creation alongside his music career.
He further noted that venturing into comedy would make him more money.
“Bro you make my days, you are very funny. I have told you several times and I’ll tell you again, the day you’ll venture into comedy, you will make so much money haitakutoshea.”
The comedian believes that Stevo’s unique style and ability to entertain would translate well into the comedy scene. While emphasizing that he wasn’t suggesting Stevo abandon music, Obinna expressed confidence in the rapper’s ability to excel in both fields.

Stevo to comedy?
Stevo has been a social media sensation over the years despite gaining fame for his hit song ‘mihadarati’. The rapper is known for his catchy phrases like Freshi barida’ Welo Welo’ and ‘shega’ among others.
The way he comes up with them makes it even more interesting for netizens. For the latter reason, Obinna and many more Kenyans believe he would make a good comedian. As for his music, it’s upto him to decide.
