Kenyan content creator Sheryl Gabriela has clarified that she is only renting the mansion she was flaunting online and hasn’t bought her own house yet.
Speaking via her TikTok account, the Young Creative said that she hasn’t yet reached a level where she can buy a house, but she can afford to pay rent, And in her newly showcased mansion, she will be paying a total of 75,000 Ksh a month.
“I knew You guys would find out it’s rental at some point in life….. am renting guys saa hii sina mamillioni za kununua nyumba….Buying a house is not a joke, but anyway, paying 75,000 ksh a month is also not a joke; it is a big milestone indeed.” Sheryll Gabriela shared.
Sheryl, however, explained why she decided to roll with the fact that people were congratulating her on buying a new house and chose to keep quiet about it: saying it was because she wanted to trend and nothing more out of it.
“Mimi nilipost picha nikasema, thank you, God, for my new house. People were congratulating me, and I was like, Ni sawa, I’ll play along with it.”
Why She Prefers Building than Renting
The young creative went on to say that she prefers building to buying, because it is way less expensive.
“I prefer building a house to buying unaeza pata nymba kama hii; it goes for 25 million Ksh and you can build using less than that, so that’s why I like it the other way around.” Sheryl hinted
She, however, promised to do a house tour soon urging her fans to keep a close eye on her
