She entrusted a Serial Killer ~ Pastor Kanyari Reveals What Lead to the Gruesome Murder of his Sister

Published on

Pastor Kanyari, who happens to be the brother of the late Starlet Wahu (24 years old) who was murdered in an Airbnb motel, has finally revealed what led to the death of his sister.

Speaking to a gathering in his church, he said that the biggest mistake his sister made was entrusting a stranger.

“Aliamini mtu ajui ndio maana…akauwawa… alienda kulala na mtu ambaye ajui mtu aliamini kumbe alikua muuwaji.” Pastor Kanyari explained.

He went on, saying that his sister’s leg vein was cut, which is what made her start bleeding profusely until she died because she couldn’t even get out as she had been locked inside by the murderer who walked out on her after doing what he did to her. Even though he said that he doesn’t blame her sister or what caught her because it is who she was and wasn’t saved, It really did break their hearts as a family.

Apparently Wahu, who is 26 years old, is the younger sister of a controversial evangelical pastor in the city.

Her lifeless body was found in an Airbnb in South B, Nairobi. She and the suspected murderer had been seen getting into the Airbnb on January 3 at night.

A postmortem examination of her body showed she was strangled and had a deep cut wound on her leg in the thigh, which had cut her vein.

The autopsy said she had also lost a lot of blood, leading to her death.

A guard at the apartment where Wahu and her companion had taken them said he saw the man leave with bloodied clothes the following day.

Unlike when he walked into the room, when leaving, he was alone and looked disturbed and injured in the leg.

The guard called the owner of the house, who, in turn, rushed there and found it locked.

They used a spare key to open it and stumbled on the naked, lifeless body of Wahu in the sitting room.

The room was disturbed to indicate a struggle.

Makadara police boss Judith Nyongesa said the police found the girl had bled to death.

“The suspect cut the woman’s vein connecting to the heart, which is why she died faster. We could not save her,” she said.

By then, the assailant had escaped the scene. He was, however, arrested at a city hospital, where he was seeking medical attention.

The suspect told police the deceased woman attacked him, prompting a fight that turned fatal.
The police arrived there and recovered a knife, two HIV test kits, and one used condom.

The DCI is still working on the case to uncover the motive for the murder that took place in January 2024.
