Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna has defended the already-proposed dialogue talks that were announced to take place to resolve the country’s problems.
Sifuna did also defend the ODM leader, Raila Odinga, who was called out by the Gen Z’s that he was not going to speak for them nor try to represent their interests as they would still stick to their way, and that is wanting President Ruto to step down from office because many don’t agree with his leadership, let alone the team that’s surrounding him, which has been called out as incompetent.
Sifuna said that Raila Odinga should be spared because he was only speaking for the people he is leading, clarifying that not everyone is leaderless.
“Baba hajasema anaenda kuongelelea GEN Z….. wao wako leaderless, Baba kuna watu anaongoza sio kila mtu ako leaderless, sio kila mtu ako partyless, pia sisi tuko na stake kwa nchi na hatuwezi kaa kama leaders tunyamanze.
Raila akienda kuongea huko pia yeye na rais ni vile anongoza watu kuna watu wako na leaders na pia hao leaders wanataka kuongea.” Edwin Sifuna said.
Even though Raila Odinga addressed the nation, agreeing that the way to solve the country’s problems is through dialogue, many are still not agreeing with it, including political leaders, even those who were in attendance, claiming that they speak for themselves.

Recently, Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka said that his party doesn’t agree with the idea of dialogue and vowed to let Raila Odinga know about it when they meet again.
“At @Thewiperparty NEC earlier today, it was clear that Kenyans want action, not dialogue. I’ll tell @RailaOdinga the same when we meet as the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party.
We cannot be seen to be sanitizing this Ruto Regime.” Kalonzo Musyoka’s statement read:
