Renowned musician and producer Sean “Diddy” Combs faces new legal challenges, with at least six lawsuits filed on Monday in New York’s federal court. The lawsuits, which come from four men and two women, accuse Combs of a range of sexual offenses, including rape and assault, over a span of more than two decades.
The accusations against Combs stretch from 1995 to 2021, with plaintiffs alleging incidents that took place at various locations, including his infamous White Parties, his home, and even public spaces like a Macy’s department store. The lawsuits follow an earlier wave of claims that have tarnished the music mogul’s public image.
Highlights
- Six anonymous accusers filed new lawsuits in federal court, alleging sexual assault and misconduct by Sean Combs.
- The accusations span over 25 years, with incidents allegedly occurring between 1995 and 2021.
- Combs’ attorneys strongly deny the allegations, stating that he has never sexually assaulted anyone.
- Combs remains in federal custody, facing criminal charges of racketeering and sex trafficking.
A Series of Allegations
The lawsuits, filed anonymously by John Doe and Jane Doe plaintiffs, paint a disturbing picture of misconduct. One accuser, a male, claims that he was just 16 years old when he attended one of Combs’ exclusive White Parties in the Hamptons in 1998. The plaintiff alleges that Combs took him to a private area and coerced him to undress, stating that it was a “rite of passage” to becoming a star in the music industry.
Another accuser, a female college student at the time, alleges that Combs raped her in a hotel room in 2004. She describes meeting Combs at a photoshoot, after which he invited her and a friend to a private after-party at his hotel. According to the lawsuit, once they arrived, Combs became aggressive, ultimately raping the plaintiff despite her pleas for him to stop.
In yet another claim, a man alleges that in 2008, while working at a Macy’s store, Combs sexually assaulted him and threatened him to stay quiet or face severe consequences. This lawsuit also implicates Macy’s for failing to investigate the incident and claims that the company later fired the accuser after striking a multi-million-dollar deal with Sean John Clothing.

More Allegations Emerge
Two more lawsuits claim that male accusers experienced drugging and sexual assault by Combs at different parties. One man, who worked security at a White Party in 2006, alleges that someone gave him a drug-laced drink and later assaulted him in a van. Another lawsuit from 2021 details how someone drugged a man at a party at Combs’ residence, and he later woke up disoriented while Combs and other men assaulted him.
Each of the plaintiffs is seeking compensatory and punitive damages for the trauma and abuse they claim to have suffered.
These new lawsuits come as Combs already faces serious criminal charges of racketeering and sex trafficking. The federal indictment, filed in September 2024, accuses him of running an organized network for sexual exploitation for which he has pleaded not guilty.
Combs is currently at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York. His legal team has pushed for bail, arguing that the conditions in the facility are inhumane, but a judge denied their request, citing concerns that Combs could be a flight risk.

A Growing List of Accusers
Attorney Tony Buzbee, who represents the plaintiffs, indicated that the six lawsuits filed on Monday are just the beginning. Furthermore, Buzbee claims to be working with over 100 individuals, including minors, who are preparing to come forward with similar allegations against Combs. According to Buzbee, these lawsuits are being filed under the Victims of Gender-Motivated Violence Protection Act, which allows for older claims to be pursued in court.
“We will continue gathering evidence and expect many more cases to be filed in the coming weeks,” Buzbee stated. His team remains determined to hold Combs accountable for what they claim is a long history of sexual abuse, misconduct, and exploitation.
In response to these lawsuits, Combs’ legal team has strongly denied the allegations, maintaining that the music mogul has never sexually assaulted anyone. Moreover, his attorneys stated, “Mr. Combs and his legal team have full confidence in the judicial process. The truth will prevail, and these false claims will be proven untrue in court.”
Despite these legal reassurances, the growing number of accusations has intensified scrutiny of Combs’ past behavior and industry influence.
Looking Ahead
Sean Combs’ trial for the federal racketeering and sex trafficking charges has been tentatively set for May 2025. Meanwhile, as these civil lawsuits continue to pile up, his legal challenges are far from over, with more accusations likely to surface in the coming months. For now, the iconic music producer’s future hangs in the balance as he fights to defend his reputation and freedom in the face of overwhelming legal battles.
