Tanzanian female rapper Rosa Ree speaks on why she likes posting cozy pictures of herself on the internet, saying she does that to appreciate her body and nothing more than that.
According to the female rapper, she will not stop posting hot pictures of herself because of the reason she issued, saying she will embrace herself because she was fearfully and wonderfully created, and there’s nothing wrong with the public knowing that.
“Yeah, for me, sometimes nakuwa sexy, mimi ni mwanamke na nimzuri. Kwa nini niwanyime hicho kitu, na ninapenda namna ambavyo nimeumbika.”
Translation: Well, as for me, at times I am always stunning, looking sexy… I am a lady and in good shape. Why would I deny you the opportunity to show you how the heavens were created fearfully and wonderfully? And also, I love the way I was created, so I won’t hesitate even for a second to show you that.
Rosa Ree, who is only 28 years old, added that just because she doesn’t sing hip-hop like others doesn’t mean that she won’t stand out and show herself to the public.
Rosa Ree did also reveal why she calls herself the Rap Goddess, especially in her new album, saying the reason for that is because she perceives herself that way and because of the potential she knows she holds.
Clarifying why she used the name ‘Goddess’, as it is associated with God, saying she is only God’s child and doesn’t mean to insult anyone, as she just picked the name because it shows power and dominance, but at the end of the day, she is just under God and God’s child.
“Lazima ujiamini katika kitu chako kabla ya kumwaminisha mtu, Watu wanasema wewe unajiita Goddess (Mungu) hapana sijasema mimi n mungu bali mtoto wa mungu.” Rosa Ree explained.
