Tanzanian artist Rosa Ree, who is currently in Kenya, has responded to claims that she is associated with ‘Illuminati’ and doesn’t go to church.
Speaking on an interview she had with the press at Kariobangi, where she had gone to issue charity to the survivors who are battling cancer, she responded, saying that she isn’t associated with the cult and anything that is being said about her isn’t true, even after admitting that she honestly doesn’t go to church, and she opts to conduct church services at the comfort of her home together with her family, and one cannot be judged based on whether they go to church or not, but rather how they carry themselves and how great their connection is with God deep down.
This comes after the public came hard on her, saying that she doesn’t go to church and that her videos are always filled with terrifying images that are at the discretion of viewers.
Her visit to Kenya was to offer support and encourage those battling the disease that they are not alone and that they should remain strong and not allow stigmatization to dampen their energy. Adding to that, the only way they can fight the act is by joining hands and working together as a team.
“Hiyo ndio sababu tumekuja hapa just to give back and be part of the solution; ambayo inatakakiwa kuletwa katika jamii.”
Rosa Ree runs her own foundation called Mirror Me Foundation that deals with mental health situations, and her starting point was to make people experience her as a being, aside from being seen as an artist as well.
