Controversial blogger turned politician Robert Alai has defended President Ruto’s daughter, Charlene Ruto after she claimed she owned a smokie business.
According to him, she was just sharing her story, “Charlene Ruto has her story. I don’t trust her day but I trust that she has her unique story. I gladly give her benefit of doubt. She is perfectly OK to narrate her story,”
A video of the first daughter surfaced online where she admitted she used to sell smokies in university to sustain herself, “I was in Daystar University, and smokie kachumbari was the only thing that was selling, I was encouraged to take up the small business.”
