The self-proclaimed Gospel music industry chairman, Alex Apoko popularly known as Ringtone changed his stage name to ‘Ringtone Blingtone.’

“Jina nishabadilisha, saa hii naitwa Ringtone Blingtone,” clarified Ringtone.

The controversial gospel artist stated that his main reason of quitting the Gospel music Industry is that women drove him out being that they focused on him instead of following Christ.

“Wasichana wengi hawataki kufocus na God, wanafocus na mimi,wananitumia nude pictures,”he said.

The ‘Pamela’ hit maker, made it clear to his fans after he first posted on his Instagram page adding a short video explaining his end of singing gospel music to now ‘love songs’ he stated.

“Nimeamua nianze kuimba love songs,” spoke Apoko.

He urged Kenyans to continue showing their support and artists should not see him as a competition but rather work together to uplift the industry.

According to Ringtone, he is the wealthiest artist in the country, after he released a list of the richest celebrities in the country with his name taking the lead.

“I own five mansions in Rundaa, Karen, Muthaiga. Hotel and various apartments, seven cars, range rovers, Maybach, BMW etc,” revealed Apoko.

After which Apoko came to the media explaining his main problem is finding a woman to entrust with his wealth.

“My biggest problem now is which woman will I marry, who can I entrust with my wealth, many Kenyan women if you give them billions, it will be finished within a day,” spoke out Apoko.

However, Kenyans have continued to name him as the no.1 clout chaser and attention seeker for using this as his way of gaining fame.
