President William Ruto begins three-day visit to the United States, including a high-profile state visit.
State House Spokesman Hussein Mohammed announced that President Ruto has scheduled meetings aimed at strengthening relations between Kenya and the U.S. This comes amidst ongoing discussions about Kenya’s commitment to lead a multinational security force in Haiti.
The president was accompanied by SPM Buzz CEO Eddie Butita for the US tour.
Gachagua set to take over
Deputy president Rigathi Gachagua will now be the acting president for the number of days that Ruto will be out in the US.
Ali nur Mohammed took to his X account to make the announcement as he declared his interest in seeing what Riggy G would do with the power he has now.
