“I used to smoke the herb. I stopped it by myself because I learned that it wasn’t necessary. One day I just got up and I was like, It was a mind of a matter thing. I felt so helpless.” Glen Washington disclosed.

He further clarified, saying that his decision to quit weed was because he wanted to be healthier and respect the woman he has because she was taking care of him.

Inspiration behind the making of the Song ‘Viper’

He also shared the inspiration behind the making of the viral song ‘Viper’, saying it is actually a personal experience track.

“What happened is that I was without a manager on the road traveling and a lady came along and decided she wanted to be my standing manager, and what was happening is that I realized that she was not who I thought she was going to be and she was just stealing my money. That’s what it was about, and I had to voice my opinion about it, but it is true. I don’t want to go too much into it; that’s where Viper came from.”

Glen Washington will be performing tonight at the Embassy launch on Thika Road, Nairobi, Kenya, and has urged the public to turn up in large numbers.

“This is yours truly. Glen Washington and I will be in the Embassy Lounge on the 19th of October. Be there. We will see you soon.” Glen confirmed.

He will also be gracing the KICC grounds on October 19, 2024, when the country will be celebrating Mashujaa Day, urging the public to come out expecting musical blessing, saying it will be an ‘off the chain’ vibe.

The concert dubbed ‘Mashujaa Peace Concert’ promises to be an electrifying experience and performance, as Glen promised that he will be performing alongside his entire team.

Lastly, Despite Glen Washington having released many tracks over the years, he admitted that he is still motivated to keep doing so because his die hard fans time and time again keep telling him that the music he records not only inspires them but also makes them fall in love.
