Content creator turned musician, Diana Bahati has been trending on Twitter after a past video of her claiming she used to date many men for money has surfaced online evoking different reactions from people.
After her husband, musician Kelvin Bahati gifted her with a new car for their anniversary, she made a testimonial video as she dedicated the car in which she admitted the claims, “”I used to date guys for money at some point in life because I lacked the whole of my whole Life to a point where all I wanted was a good life, to live well and so I dated men for money,” the various men has their respective things they did for her, “I dated someone who used to pay my rent, nilikua na mtu wa kunifanyia shopping ya nyumba, nilikua na mtu wa kunibuyia manguo, nilikua na mtu wa kunipeleka out. Let me tell you something, in my early twenties money for me was never a problem.”
Diana admitted to even date a married man, “I used to date this guy that was married and let me tell you I liked that guy sana, he liked me too and I remember at some point alikua ananiambia Dee I will not lie to you that am going to leave my wife for you but if you want and you want this to work and you want us to settle down, I promise you am going to get you a car under your name, a house under your name and akauliza unataka kua na watoi wangapi and I told him three and he told me I can’t give you three kids I can give you one and I was okay.”
Adding that contrary to the claims, she did not date Bahati for money as she had her own, “I see people comment on social media and say wewe uko na Baha juu ya dooh sijui ulikua na Baha juu ya pesa tu. Guys, I don’t want to brag but let me tell you something, ata Baha akinimeet when we used to hang out, tukimeet leo I have this car, tukimeet kesho next week any other day, I have a different car.”
The mother of four claimed they went through many challenges growing up hence her bad decisions, “I remember my dad has raised us single-handedly and I remember at some point alifukuzwa na landlord wake or rather tulifukuzwa juu he had arrears za rent for a couple of months nahatukua na option ingine.
