Protests To Resume Next Week Wednesday

The Azimio Coalition team has announced that it will resume its demos starting Wednesday this coming week.

Speaking to the press at the SKM Command Center earlier today, the Azimio members assured the public that they would hold peaceful demonstrations.

“Our peaceful demos will continue next Wednesday, and we will notify all OCSs in the country.” Mwangi Wa Iria said

The leader of the Usawa Kwa Wote Party also highlighted the matter of protestors being raided by Policemen, adding that they were unfairly confronted when they had done nothing wrong and condemning the act.

Kalonzo Musyoka, the leader of the Wiper Party, told the public that Azimio leader Raila Odinga, Narc Kenya’s leader Martha Karua, and Wycliff Oparanya, who were absent, had sent their apologies for not being present at the moment, but on the same note assured the public that they would walk the journey together.

He has also asked that all the Azimio leaders and supporters who are under custody be released with immediate effect.
