Kenyan Artist Prezzo has cautioned artists against faking serious incidents just to get attentions so that they can release a track.
Prezzo has been in the game way back when he used to release bangers alongside top celebrated artists like juacali and Nameless before he retired from it.
He has taken to his social media page on his Insta story and even used a story to describe the whole situation to pass the message that they should refrain from such incidents, for they might cause them a great deal.
“If this new cats knew about the story of the boy who cried wolf three times & what transpired the 3rd time, then they would refrain from using “Clout” before releasing a single.”
Apparently, yeah, it is a strategy to make their new music video make views and help them generate money easily, but it’s a very risk motive.
Lately many Kenyans especially the celebrities have been doing this because they want to climb their way up quick and fast. Having that mentality that If they don’t spice it up, they won’t get attention from the public, and Kenyans want something that’s shocking.
