Amidst all the social media pressure surrounding Pritty Vishy and Bishop Kiengei, a previous video of Pritty Vishy admitting she’s ugly has emerged.
She divulged the latter while in an interview with Oga Obinna; where she was asked whether she would accept to be taken back by her ex boyfriend.
”Okay, me I’m ugly. Why should the guy leave the girlfriend and come to me. I mean, what do I have to offer? I’m just ugly, I even feel like crying,” she said.
Things get Pritty ugly for Vishy
Pritty Vishy has been at loggerheads with Kenyan pastor and media personality Bishop Ben Kiengei of JCM Church; who termed her as ugly.
Ben issued a public apology Pritty Vishy for offensive body-shaming comments made during a recent television show.
Kiengei’s remarks sparked widespread outrage online, with many criticizing his insensitive comments. In his apology, the pastor admitted that his words were inappropriate and caused significant pain to Pritty Vishy.
“I am truly sorry for mentioning your name in a show where I went overboard and addressed you in a wrong way,” Kiengei stated in his apology. He emphasized that this would never happen again and expressed his deep regret for the incident.
However, Pritty Vishy turned down Ben’s apology and shared her expectations of a pastor making such comments.
Pritty Vishy, known for her advocacy of self-love and body positivity, responded to Kiengei’s apology in a video. While she appreciated his acknowledgment of the harm caused, she also highlighted the ongoing issue of body-shaming and online harassment.
