President William Ruto has finally answered the question that many Kenyans have been waiting be addressed.
The Kenyan President has always been called out for making false promises that the public claims they are tired of.
According to netizens, the Kenyan President has time and time again lied to them about many things just to make them feel at ease and end up not fulfilling them as he had promised.
President Ruto, who was speaking in a roundtable at the State House yesterday with other media outlets, said he has exactly done as he had promised.
“I told the people of Kenya that I would reduce the price of fertilizer from 7,000 to 2,500. I don’t know how that is a lie because they buy it at 2,500… I told the people of Kenya that we are going to have a housing program that is underway. Facts are not changed by who says them.” Ruto said.
Ruto, was put in a tight spot by one of the journalists on board by the name of Linus up until he was forced to clarify that he has never even dared go after any of those who were speaking ill of him when he was campaigning.
“Many of the people who opposed me, those who were scared about what I would do when I became president. Even the people who did the worst things against me, I have never gone after them because I don’t believe in settling political scores using the power of the state or the police.” Ruto said.

President Ruto’s Three Commitments
President Ruto made three commitments when he came to power that he said he has fulfilled and doesn’t see any reason why he should be doubted whatsoever.
“I made three commitments that I would make sure the police are independent, and I made sure of that on my first day in office.
Number two, I said there would be no extrajudicial killing in Kenya. I have kept my promise.
Number Three: If there’s any arrest by the police, that doesn’t amount to an abduction in my very honest opinion.” Ruto said.
