MAXINE WAHOME HAS BEEN RELEASED ON BOND IN A MURDER CASE.

Published

Rally driver Maxine Wahome (25 years old) has been released on bond of 2 million at the Milimani law court.

MAXINE WAHOME

The Rally driver had been charged with murdering her boyfriend Assad Khan but the judge (Lilian Mutende) offered an option to post bail which is what she exactly did and has walked.

“I hereby grant the accused a bond sh 2 million with surety of a similar amount. Further orders are that the accused deposits her passport in court.”

“The Prosecution did not advance any compelling reasons to warrant the court to deny her bond.” said Mutende. She went on, adding that posting bail is her constitutional right and there’s nothing wrong with her doing exactly that.

Mahome defended herself, saying she had nothing to do with the death of her boyfriend. And If there should be any ruling, it should fall on her Boyfriend and not her.

Maxine is however expected to hand the court her passport to prevent her from travelling out of the country and if at all she should the court has to agree to it first.

She has also been advised against reaching out to witnesses as this will make her bond not stand.

The case has been adjourned until the 19th of April 2023.

Kenyan Content Creator Kelvin Kinuthia and Videographer Waweru have shared their side of the story as far as their status is concerned.

WAWERU & KINUTHIA

This is after there were a lot of speculations online that the two are not at terms.

Speaking on an Interview with Nicholas Kioko the Kinuthia said that there’s nothing deep going on with them as they are just business partners nothing aside from that.

“Si ni marafiki tu. Watu wanatuonanga tukiwa pamoja sana, because mostly we shoot together.”

Waweru backed up Kinuthia by saying that they’re just best friends who happen to be working together.

“We are just best friends, and also we work together.”

Kinuthia dismissed the dating claims, saying that there’s nothing going between them, people are just making assumptions because they are being seen together.

“So unaona hiyo kushinda pamoja saa hizi tena tukienda huko tuonekana pamoja akuje aende kwa jioni mtu ataanza kufikiria vitu zake.”

Adding that they don’t even live on the same roof, as there’s even proof in both of their YouTube channels where both have posted their House Tours.

Waweru shared that he is seeing someone and his partner doesn’t like to be put out there. Promising to show her to the world when the time will be right.

“Mimi niko na mtu lakini mtu wangu hataki mambo ya camera… I think I respect her private life.”

Kinuthia also answered that the reason as to why they unfollowed each other was triggered by unknown person whom they didn’t want to disclose the identity, saying the person went and gave them wrong information about each other.

In other words, the person wanted to break their well relation by trying to defame them, by approaching each of them separately and feeding them with wrong Information about each other.

Kinuthia said that money is the number one priority as for now and will let the public know when she finally decides to settle.
