Dr. Miguna Miguna has condemned the act that was done by a Kenyan police officer yesterday who dropped a young man who was protesting peacefully on the streets of Nairobi.
Miguna Miguna, who took it to his Twitter account, called out the police officer, condemning the act and promising to make sure the young man’s death would not be in vain.
“This is cruel and inhumane. The barbaric Kenya Police have murdered Rex Kanyike Masai, but he remains a hero and leaves a legacy of courage.
We demand #Justice4RexKanyike. His death must not be in vain. Freedom Fighters: Prepare for the Mother of All Battles!” Miguna Miguna’s statement read:

Kenyans across the country, particularly in Nairobi’s central business district (CBD), took to the streets on Thursday to protest the controversial Finance Bill 2024.
The bill, recently approved in parliament despite widespread opposition, sparked public anger. Protests began early, with demonstrators expressing their dissatisfaction through placards, chants, and bonfires.
Rex who was part of those demonstrating was shot in the evening hours; however, the information has yet to be confirmed by the authorities, as this is just an assumption.
The Public has promised they will not rest until the Finance Bill is rejected they plan to resume back to the streets come next week for two main things: One, seeking Justice for Rex who was shot by a police officer and two, the 2024 Finance Bill be rejected, they will not relent up until their plea is heard.
