Kenyan artist Phy Mwihaki, whose popularly known for her hit song ‘Taabu Taabu has announced her comeback.
Earlier today, her management simonafricacentric shared a press statement saying that she is back on track and will be making her fans proud soon enough.
She also took it to her Instagram page letting her fans know that she is back and she did so by coming with a new banger.
Her management broke the news to the public informing the fans on the day that she will be releasing her music.
“PHY IS BACK! Taboo (Taabu) hit maker PHY has announced her return after a 4-year hiatus. She
announced this through a social media post prior to releasing an emotional and awe-inspiring
live acoustic performance video aptly titled Phy Aliendanga Wapi as a chronological response to
the often-asked question.
As she gears up towards her first official comeback release 14U on June 16th, the singer
excitedly remarks, “I can’t wait to share new music with you. Expect to think, feel deeply, and
dance because I have made the soundtracks to our lives.”
Since PHY took a break, there has been high and consistent anticipation for her return, with
Kenyan netizens expressing their love for her as one of the most talented writers and vocalists.
The comeback news follows PHY’s recent signing with AfricaCentric Entertainment (ACE),
Kenya’s leading talent agency.”
