Mumias East MP Peter Salasya has changed his mind on the proposed Financial Bill; which is still setting an undivided collliquy among netizens.

Currently, the conversation on the Finance Bill is topping the charts, with netizens taking to the streets of Nairobi to demonstrate against passing of the bill.

Salasya narrated how he has been receiving numerous phone calls from concerned Kenyans about the bill.

“There are almost 5,000 numbers here calling me. And some are Kenya Kwanza supporters calling me after they voted for President William Ruto. Why disturb me when I am an Azimio member?” he posed.

Salasya’s promise

The Mumias East MP stated that the financial bill is not set to help Kenyans as UDA govt promised during it’s campaign. Salasya in fact, said that the bill is contrary and that money which was promised to help in education and development has not yet been released.

”When the Kenya Kwanza government was passing that bill, they were saying that it was going to be a big game changer for the economy of this country. Even the CDF has not started implementing the projects of the year. And many other institutions have not received their money.”

Salasya continued to make his vow to vote against the bill;

”And today, as an individual who has the interest of the people, I’m going to vote against that finance bill.”

Most Kenyan celebrities have shared their sentiments on the finance bill; with most of them dis-agreeing the passing of the bill.
