Peninah Malonza was Nominated Cabinet Secretary on September for Tourism, Wildlife and Heritage by the President Of Kenya William Ruto
Peninah Worked as the Deputy Governor of Kitui County for 4 years before she was selected among the few who were going to be the New Cabinet Secretaries,
Earlier Today her Nomination was rejected by the House of parliament seconded by MPS saying that she lacked professional experience to be approved to work in the office of the Cabinet.
Speaking in Parliament, the Committee said that Malonza, has a wide field of Knowledge and even a Masters in Project planning and Management and other papers as well.
They also noted that the Nominee has never been dismissed from office as well her political party affiliations, she doesn’t hold office in any political party.
They then stated that the Nominee Malonza did not demonstrate knowledge of topical Administrative and technical issues touching on issues of Tourism wildlife and Heritage, saying she lacks the requisite abilities and experience to serve as the Cabinet ministry of Tourism and heritage.
He also said, representing the Committee, that there are no intentions of indecting her
He read out her long list of Achievements so that it justifies the fact that they rejected her nomination, that in all her records there was nothing related to what she was assigned to do. In other words, her great Qualifications don’t go hand in hand with what is at stake for and the best they could do for her is relief her out of the duties that are not in her profile.
