Kenyan artist Octopizzio has responded to claims that he is buying views for his YouTube videos.
Speaking in an interview with a local media channel, he said that he is a strategic artist and that his work speaks for itself.
He called out to those hating, telling them to follow suit if they think that is what he is doing, which he has dismissed any claims of doing so.
Octopizzo believes the secret to the success of one’s project, especially musically, is good marketing.
“On a serious note, marketing is the key to everything.”
Octopizzo said that paying for the ads is one way of marketing, and for him, before he releases any track, he always creates a marketing budget that includes influencers, YouTube ads, and Instagram ads, saying that it is what makes his videos have the most views.
Octopizzo also responded to people comparing him to Khaligraph Jones, saying that those who are making comparisons between him and Khaligraph know very little as far as music is concerned and should consider doing some research.
